The last few years have been full of turmoil and confusion. We've experienced a pandemic, racial tensions, war in Ukraine, political disputes, and an unstable economy. Many people have found themselves asking if this is the end, and if not, where do we go from here?
This fall, LCC will be doing the series "Is This The End?" where we will learn what the Bible says about the End Times, if we're there yet, and how to live without worry in a fearful world.
In addition to learning about the End Times on Sundays this fall, our small groups will also go through a custom LCC End Times study guide designed to complement the series.

The Eschatology Series
The Study of what the Bible says is going to happen in the End Times
Are you ready for this? We are beginning a new series on Eschatology on the Kitchen Table Theology podcast. Eschatology is the study of what the Bible says is going to happen in the end times. Some people try to avoid this confusing topic because there are so many differing interpretations. So why should we study unfulfilled prophecy? We need to have a proper perspective on future prophecy because it will affect how we conduct our lives, prepare us for what is to come, and promote sharing the Gospel. Listen to the first episode in the series as Jen and I introduce Eschatology and define some of the key terms we will need to know and understand in this series.
What do you think of when you hear the term “The Rapture”? For me, I remember the “Left Behind” series from years ago. There are many different views and thoughts about the Rapture, but in this episode of the Kitchen Table Theology podcast, we will discover what the Bible teaches us about it. The Rapture is a separate event from the Second Coming of Christ, and there is a lot to learn. As always, I would love to hear your questions, so share them!
Do you know what will follow The Rapture? When we hear the word “tribulation” it tends to spark a bit of fear into our hearts, doesn’t it? It seems to be connected with wars, famines, and all sorts of terrible, horrible things. Is that the right way to think about it? Listen to these episodes as Jen and I discover there may be a further purpose for us in understanding the tribulation.
I have been asked this question several times in the last year, so I thought we’d begin this podcast by answering that question. Listen as Jen and I search the Scriptures for the answer and then also dive into the related question, “What are the signs of the End Times that we should be looking for?” As a result to the answers of these questions, I think many of us as Christians struggle to feel the urgency Paul felt (1 Corinthians 7) and live like he instructed. So to wrap up this episode, Jen and I discuss, “How do we live in these last days that have lasted so long and may last for generations longer?"
Kitchen Table Theologians, get ready to learn about the Millennial Kingdom on these two podcast episodes. Have you ever wondered about the Battle of Armageddon or how things will be different on earth during Christ’s 1000 year reign? Listen to these two episodes as Jen and I talk about the Milllenium’s length, its government, its characteristics and Christ’s role in all of it. We will dive into the spiritual, social, physical, political, and ethical aspects of the Millennial Kingdom and take a few rabbit trails along the way for some fun facts.
In this episode, Pastor Jeff tests Jen's Biblical knowledge of the end times. Will anyone depart from the faith in the end times? Is there going to be another flood? Follow along and see how many questions you get right!
The current situation in Russia and Ukraine has many people asking if we’re living in the end times. In episode 97 of Kitchen Table Theology, Jen and I continue our series on Eschatology and dive into the roles that Russia, Iran, and other countries might play in the end times. Listen to this episode at the link in the bio and be prepared if anyone asks you, “Is Russia’s invasion of Ukraine found in Biblical prophecy of the end times?"
What does the Bible mean when it talks about dispensing God’s judgment on the earth in the tribulation through seals, trumpets, and bowls? In this episode of Kitchen Table Theology, Pastor Jeff Cranston and Jen Denton talk about what each series signifies and how the created earth and all beings will experience the Tribulation, God’s judgment, and His wrath.
