Pastor Jeff Cranston is a graduate of Columbia International University (SC) and Moody Theological Seminary (IL). Additionally, he has been honored by the conferring of a Doctor of Divinity honoris causafrom CIU. He has served in leadership positions in churches and para-church organizations for almost 40 years.
Pastor Jeff is passionate about the areas of leadership equipping, reaching people for Christ, and biblical teaching that is authentically contextual and readily applicable.
Pastor Jeff is a published author of “What Christians Need to Know About Islam” [2005], “Happily Ever After: Studies in the Beatitudes” [2010], “Your Greatest Adventure” [2020], and "The King Has One More Move" [2024]. He also hosts the Kitchen Table Theology podcast.
He loves being a father of three daughters, Tiffany, Lauren, and Emily and a grandfather of seven: Callie, Cade, Colton, Charley, Laney, Kendall, and Leighton. He enjoys reading three to four books a month and traveling. Jeff has been married to his college sweetheart, Darlene, for over 40 years.
In 1999, Jeff Cranston began teaching and serving as the Lead Pastor of LowCountry Community Church, an innovative faith community in Bluffton, South Carolina. Today approximately 4,000 people call LCC their spiritual home each week. LCC was named by Outreach Magazine in 2013 and 2014 as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America.
Most recently, Jeff received his Church Consultant Certification through Church Answers. Church Answers is led by Thom Rainer and a team of experts with deep vocational ministry experience. They provide resources for churches of all sizes and levels of health including assessment tools, digital community, ministry certifications and more.
